Hello all,

Like many of you, I am scrambling to get all of the necessary documents to adhere to the new Visa guidelines this year. I read that one could get their fingerprints done at the police station in Namdaemun. Can anyone tell me how to get there using the metro - directions from which station? Or if anyone knows of a police station in Gangnam that will do fingerprinting, please feel free to share. I tried stopping in a random police station, but apparently it can only be done at certain stations. :/

Also - There is a link somewhere on these boards to a page that Dave, I believe, set up outlining the new Visa requirements. It is set up with great drop-down menus and has loads of information. I thought I bookmarked it, but apparently not. Anyone have a link to the page?

Thanks for info help you can provide.

The site that you are looking for is FootPrints Recruiting and can be found right here: http://www.footprintsrecruiting.com/visa-information-to-teach-in-korea/949-korean-public-school-applicationvisa-documents

We utilized this information to create our own step-by-step guide to help you apply for your criminal background check from the FBI. You can download the PDF here: http://www.mediafire.com/?8fzv000w1v850nt

We got our fingerprints done at the main police station in Ansan. Just walked in one afternoon and the 'Crime Scene' department printed us. If you're town/city is large enough they should be able to accommodate you.

We would recommend using heavy card stock and having at least 2 sets of prints done just in case one is illegible.

Good luck!
