|
|
My school sent me a new updated contract. They pointed out the changes of which I was fine. I just caught a new clause that I didn't see.
the first contract stated I would get a severence in the amount of my last month's pay.
This new contract says i will get a severence according to the related law.
Has anyone experienced this? Am I better or worse off? What is the "related law?" |

I thought that the severance was supposed to be the average of your last three months' pay -- if you do not work overtime, then it is a basic month's salary, but if you worked overtime in those three months, the average would be a little (or a lot, depending on overtime) more than a basic month's pay.... |

Thanks! I read in another link that the severence pay is an average, quite possible the last three month average. I just got tripped up when they changed this clause in my contract. i think it is better now. |
