Ha!

Can a "Caucasian" offer herself/himself up for this trial, or does it have to be boss-approved? Wink

Stay away from these tests here or in any country.

First, they'll make you sign a waiver that protects them from any liability.

After that, they can do whatever they like to you and any harm that comes from it will be your problem.

PS- I'm not sure why they want only Caucasians??????

Our DNA is no different than theirs. I've never seen a clinical drug study in the US asking for blacks, or asians specifically. weird stuff.

Sounds like they're trying to find out if fan death only works on Koreans.

There are certain diseases that are much more prevalent in certain races. Sickle cell anemia in black males is common, as is cancer. I don't remember which one, but black men have a much higher incidence of either prostate or testicular cancer. (Although I'm not black, there is a strong black medical outreach program in my home community, and I watch a lot of TV...) I'm sure there are plenty of diseases/conditions that affect only Caucasians/Asians/Hispanics/etc.

I used to do 'tests' like these back home during University. They paid in cash and it was all tax free. It paid for some nice vacations, I can tell you.

You can get exposed to some pretty rough stuff which can give you severe side effects, but if the trials are only 2 or 4 days then it's not going to be anything too bad. Some company might want to bring out a new painkiller or something like that.

Easy money on offer there!

The University in my hometown is constantly advertising for volunteers, you usually have to be a guy, or a woman who is no longer fertile.

Too bad the first screening is on a Monday during working hours. Also it's in Seoul. Sad I wonder if I could send my F-3 husband to something like this if it were local.

Mama needs lypolisis for her upper arm flab!
