I have a couple of suit jackets I need to have taken in. I ordinarily go to the ajumma in the dry cleaner beneath my apartment, but these jackets will require some pretty serious work...I lost about 20 kilos last year, and I don't really trust her to make such dramatic changes properly.
Anyway, I'm wondering--will the tailors in Itaewon do alterations for a reasonable fee? Or is there some place better to go?
ALSO: my wife has a pearl ring which recently broke...the pearl fell off and needs to be reattached. We could hot glue it, I suppose, but I think it was originally held in place by a clasp...anyway, where should I go for jewelry repair? Those shops around Jongno sell lots of gold and so forth...do they also do repair? |
