Do you know any good print or streaming video sources for international news?

An excellent daily program that I use to get news is Democracy Now.org. They have a daily 1 hour webcast on weekdays. Almost entirely American and World News. Way better than CNN or any other American news source that I know. It really is straight and honest.

For me at this point, a news aggregater trumps any single source.

http://news.google.com/
(this can be set for any country if you're not American)

The headlines let you see the spin in whichever direction it's going. In other words, there's a certain value in seeing how FOX is portraying things without having to visit their site.

Perhaps a configurable version would be best. Counterpunch doesn't get coverage, for example.

Yeah, I usually browse news magazines like the Atlantic, Time, Newsweek, The Economist, Foreign Policy, The Diplomat, Salon.com, The New Yorker, and Vanity Fair.

Then there are the news sites proper, such as Politico, HuffPo, Daily Beast, and various newspapers (New York Times, Washington Post, etc.) I read others from specific countries, such as the Canadian ones like the Globe and Mail and Star.

Yes, I'm a news junkie.

Who's that angry redneck economist type on youtube who break stuff with a baseball bat while he gets pissed off describing the BS going down with the Wall Street/Washington crowd?

I remember he was pretty good.
