The consular section of your embassy will notarize documents and affidavits.

Thanks for the information, but I just can't fit a trip there into my schedule. The US embassy in Seoul is only open for notary on Tues, and Thurs from 1-3pm.
I am wondering if there may be a place near Itaewon? |

There are a bunch of places behind the embassy as well for notary and translation services.

I have had documents for the US notarized by a Korean notary. However, the notary's requirement was that the documents be translated into Korean so he knew what he was notarizing. |

I had something notarized by the "New Han-yang Law Firm" in Seocho-gu. I had a Korean friend call and the lawyar spoke enough English.
There is not much info in English on the web, but there are hundreds of lawyer offices around Seocho Station and you could probably ask around and find a firm that will notarize your papers any time. |
