i'm looking for a great online multiplayer to get into. Mag seems interesting. Anyone playing that?

i'd recommend bad company 2...got it for $40 off ebay, including shipping. ultimate edition comes with battlefield 1943...and for $15 more you can get the vietnam add-on (havent gotten around to it yet, still digging my teeth and slowly leveling up in the core game)

so far i like it a lot more than the COD series - a lot more balance...no one weapon/class can dominate thanks to the addition of vehicles. only downside is if someone on the other team is really good with a helicopter.

i gave you an add. i highly recommend bad company 2, but in my case i bought it off ebay to get the US version. that way you get a code that unlocks free maps....i think i that wont work with korean versions. i got it for less than 40 including shipping on ebay. amazon sells it for 37 plus i think about 5 shipping.

otherwise, i've also got modern warfare 2. i'm really bad at that one but maybe if i have a teammate i might do a little better. i think my k/d ratio on mw2 is like .35 while on bc2 it's more like .65...but the game rewards you for a lot more than k/d ratio (repairing team vehicles, healing, giving your teammates ammo, etc)

Wow, nobody's playing Black Ops yet? I played the crap out of MW2, so I had to move on, even though it's a Treyarch game. Ah, just saw that waygooking is. Will add!

The best thing so far about Black Ops is being able to play split screen online with a buddy, in a normal multiplayer room. The combat training (online multiplayer with bots) is good for said buddy to get used to the controls, as well. Being able to choose the order of attachment and killstreak unlocks is nice. Also, no nukes, but that means no incentive to stay alive after about a 10 kill streak.

I've yet to hook up the PS3 or the internet since I got back, but when I do, I have MW2 and Black Ops, as well as LBP2 and GT5. Add me! Lag-free is a helluva lot nicer. I have a mic that I can use, as well.

About MAG, it was interesting until it came out. Too much work to do in between the action, seemed like I was running back to the action more than actually doing anything in it. I gave up after the open beta. I guess I don't know if it got any better, but I don't know anyone playing it...

I liked Battlefield 1943 more than BC2, because of those helicopters Smile

The planes could be mastered, but were dominant less often. I guess I only played the demo there, as well Wink

My biggest problem is that certain games I can't access the online mode on because I bought them here and got a Korean code for Online Access that I can't enter without a Korean PSN account (though a friend has agreed to stop by and make one for me sometime).

Notable games in this category include FIFA 11 and SmackDown vs. Raw 2011.
