I'm looking to change jobs for the August start date for an elementary, middle, or high school.

A few years ago I had a job with a private elementary school (not a hagwon, not a PS.) I was like a PS but parents paid ubber amounts of tuition. It was a private elementary school, not a public school.

Anyways, it was great. I didn't have a coteacher I had my own class. Being private it didn't have to play by the same rules PSs do. I had full summer and winter breaks, no desk warming.

I want to land a gig like that again. Is there any way I can get all the contact info for private schools like this? Is it best just to do a Naver search and take it one at a time?

Btw, I landed that gig through a recruiter. A total fluke of a thing I guess. I left on a positive note after my contract to travel my butt off. I've talked to them recently, but they don't have any openings for August, just March.

take the position in march and spend 6 months on the beach?

Long term stays in places like Tagbilaran (Bohol, Philippines) can be pretty cheap (rent an apartment (semi furnished, private bath and air) for $500 (plus utilities) for 6 months).

Cebu is not much more expensive.

They are visa friendly too with easy extensions every 2 months for as long as you need (up to 2 years as a tourist).

The other options are hit Naver and network your socks off.
