darkjedidave:
Actually, extreme snowstorms like this would actually be consistent with global warming or climate change.

This is a bad analogy, but imagine you had a glass of water with an ice cube at the top. If the glass is kept overall cooler, the ice wouldn't melt so quickly. However, if the glass is warmed up, the ice will melt and will initially spread that extra coldness down. (The overall temperature increases, though it may seem colder in areas farther from the poles.)

Or am I just making crap up? In any case, some say man-made climate change could be causing these extreme weather patterns.

But I wouldn't expect a Sith to understand that...

Coldness doesn't spread. Heat does.

Well snow is water. And it seems that lately it has been not stop floods all over the world. Mostly by rain; however, a fair amount from tsunamis. Watch CNN for 10 minutes while reading the news across the bottom of the screen and you will see that record floods and snow is happening all over the world. Why? Well, 12/21/2012 does start The Age of Aquarius, (i.e., The Age of Water). Thus, it all seems to make sense to me.

Don't you mean the age of Capricorn?

Regardless, there is no definitive date of the age of Aquarius. It could have happened 200 years ago or will do 200 years from now for all we know. Nobody knows.

2012 is unrelated.

First the post did not work, then it was a double post, then I try to delete the double post and this is what happens, but I do see it was quoted by the next poster, so never mind.
