Does anyone have any experiences they could share about moving apartment? Who did you use to move your stuff? How much was it? I need to move from Dangsan to Bucheon at the end of February.
Thanks |

I met this dude outside of my old apartment 2 years ago. His English was broken but he was super enthusiastic, gave me his biz card, and told me that if I needed to move, to give him a call. He had one of those blue trucks with a flatbed in the back.
I called him a year ago, and he came to my apt, and picked up all of my boxes, and furniture and put it on his flatbed, drove to my new apt, and took all the things up stairs. Did a really good job in a very short amount of time. He said he once moved a dude from Seoul to Busan. He charged me 50,000 Won for the services, which is great.
Feel free to contact him... Just know, he might talk your ear off with his really funny and broken English, but I thought he was a fun, kind dude.

I'm also going to need to move soon (from Bucheon to Seoul) but I have a lot of big furniture (sofa, bed, fridge, washing machine, wardrobe, bookcase, etc) and I'm on the fourth floor of a villa that doesn't have an elevator. So, I'll probably need to hire one of those big moving trucks/lorries/vans with the moving platform thing that goes to your window to get all the stuff out.
Anyone had any good experiences lately with a large moving firm rather than just one guy and his bongo truck? |

원,투룸이사(one, two room moving) 02-309-1424
투가이즈이사(two guys moving) 02-1644-5824
Paid 60K with 2 guys, for a move from central to western Seoul. Moved from 7th floor with an elevator to 13th with an elevator. It was about 8 miles and I had a bed, small couch, table, desk, 3 chairs, small closet and a bunch of boxes.
Amount, distance, and elevator are all key in the determining the quote. I was quoted 80K from the second company since they were going to bring two men.
Hootsman, I think both companies have multiple trucks and crews.
Good luck |

WOW. I paid 440,000 KRW. But that was two moves because i had to store my stuff in pod because the resident couldn't move out in time. They also packed and moved everything so i didn't have to do anything. |
