Are there any incident when an English teacher break a GEPIK contract? It's because I'm on the verge of breaking it right now. |

Sure, people break contracts all the time at public and private schools. If it's before 6 months of the contract has passed you'll have to pay back your initial flight and settlement allowance. Are you pulling a midnight run or going to give notice? I've had a hard time at my public school too-I'm GEPIK also. What's so bad that you want to leave and how long have you been here?? |

Give notice = get your deposits back.
Unlike a hagwan they are unlikely to play with your pay (other than deduct airfare and entry/settlement allowances if you are under 6 months).
You are still (unless you are from the UK, NZ or SA) able to file and get your pension from the NPS (9% of your gross salary).
All that said, do be aware that at the end of Feb your school will change about 20% of its staff (standard rotation to/from other schools) and things WILL change.
