I just made an account for Xbox Live. When I was setting it up, I put Korea as the region. Now, it seems that most things related to the account are in Korean. Is there any way to have it in English?? If I register in Korean, will the gameplay related stuff be in Korean too? |

make a new account with your home country details. Once you've made the account you are locked to that regions live service. hope you didn't make a gold account... At least it will be a good way to practice Korean.
As far as I know, only the live portions of the account will be in Korean. If you set the console language to English, games should be in English when available. Most menus should be in English as well. |

You can always create a silver account using your US address and set the region to US. This will allow you to purchase gamerpoints in your region and will ensure that you see the correct version of Marketplace for your region.
Please know that all content (other than avatar items and in game items) that you purchase using this alternate account can be used by any profile on the same console (in the same region) but other items may be region locked and you may not be able to use them. You will not be able to purchase subscruotions for your Gold account this way.
I guess I did retain some info from working at Xbox! |
