I am curious if there is an established system for taking out student loans in Korea. My GF is currently planning to enter SNU and is curious about her options when it comes to getting help from the Korean government. Firstly, she is Mongolian and has financial difficulties when it comes to paying tuition fees - Does anyone have experience or knowledge in this subject, and what kind of conditions are there for receiving a loan? Or, is it not possible to receive a loan as a foreign student in Korea? |

You won't get a loan as a foreigner but you can get a scholarship. I heard that SNU has a pretty established foreign scholarship program. |
