Hi folks,
I'm sending my Criminal Record Check to the Toronto consulate to be verified. Has anyone done this recently? What's the turnaround there once the documents are received?
I've heard rumours that they are quite inefficient, but how long could it take to stamp a paper?
Thanks. |

From my 2 experiences with them, it's been one problem after another. They don't answer emails and could never give me specific answers to my questions. It could be a couple of days or it could take 2 weeks for you to get it back. You are basically powerless and just have to wait it out. |

In person = usually the same day (occasionally overnight if you live in the same city).
By mail, 10-20 days is common (1/2 of that is in the hands of Canada Post.)
