So i got the news of my acceptance to Epik and I should get my NOA by next week. I have an idea of what I have to do but would like to get the low-down from somebody who's been through the experience with the consulate in Ireland.
Thanks for any input. |

| So you need a Korean visa (from the Korean consulate in Ireland), not an Irish visa. |

First thing you should do is get on to the Garda station where you live and request the clearance cert as it can take a few weeks.
Also get onto your university and get them to send you two copies of your transcripts (in sealed envelopes with the uni's stamp across the seal).
You'll need to get your degree certificate and the background check aspostilled, the department that does it is around St. Stephens green somewhere.
Your recruiter will tell you all of this anyway, but definitely apply for the clearance cert asap as there maybe a backlog at the moment with the mass exodus from Ireland. |

Thanks for the reply sshemma!
I have already sent all that documentation to EPIK during the application process, do I need to get it altogether again for the consulate, hardly? |

No, EPIK should submit all of your docs to immigration here and then send you a visa number which you take to the embassy with you to get your visa.
If its your first E2 then you'll probably need an interview, so as soon as they send you your visa number make an appointment, I think they only do them on Tuesdays and Thursdays and then it takes about three days to process. |
