I'm going to need to store a lot of my belongings for a few months. A few pieces of furniture and a bunch of storage boxes.
Back in the home country, this is pretty easy as there are numerous storage facilities where one can rent various amounts of space for this purpose. In Korea, I don't know where to look for this.
Anyone have any personal experiences with storage facilities?
Thanks.
PS. I'm also looking for someone with an extra room to rent out for April or May through August. I'll probably be gone away on camp jobs for a large portion of that time, but will still want to rent a room in Seoul while away at camps. I can provide references from former roommates and from people I've sub-let from. |

Your best bet is to ask a local business. When I left for 3 months I stored my things at my local 'mart'. I'm sure some mom and pop mart or store in your area would be happy to take your boxes for 50-100k per month.
Storage units are virtually nonexistent in Korea. I did find some outside of Seoul but the cost was prohibitive because you had to bring your stuff down to Gyeongi-do or have it picked up.
Edit - Here's a link to the same topic. There are some possible storage companies listed but I think they're expensive. http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=146861 |
