Hi,

I finally came across some socks (after 6 years in Korea) that weren't too tight with the elastic bands digging into my flesh.

Yeah.

However, they were given to me by a Chinese graduate student (a large strapping fellow) who bought them at a store in Myeong-dong. Now I'm trying to figure out what the name of that store is so that I can locate it and go there to buy some socks that fit at last.

He said it was the name of the store was the French words for man and woman. That might be Homme and Femme or it might be Mosuier (pardon spelling) and Madame. Does anyone know of the store that I am seeking in that dong?

So, am I the only waygukkin that gets bothered by "asian-sized" socks with tight elastic digging into your flesh? My legs aren't fat, by the way.
