Does anyone have any ideas for a "blow-off" type class for 40 or so students? On Tuesday, I will have only three classes with my students who have been doing nothing but hard core studying for the past few days. Then on Wednesday we have a holiday, so I'm not looking to get into anything too involved with the book until Thursday.
I might bring in a game like Outburst or Scattergories, but am concerned about how my students' interest will hold up for 45 minutes.
I was thinking of maybe doing a song activity, where they listen to a song, maybe then get into groups and put the chorus of the song in order, and then fill in the blanks of a worksheet to complete the song, but am not sure about doing that.
One thing's for sure. I am definitely not singing in class.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot! |

Tell them to bring in their own magazines and get them to create a poster of something - group work though - fashion or computer games or famous people.
Get em to build 3D words or something.
Throw a party day for those classes - tell them to bring in food.
Make something Korean with them - thats what i did on my party day and it was fun.
Teach them aboot the mayday riots and start one - actually their most probably do that anyway. |

I want to teach at a middle school because it's easier and you have killer holidays.
Make them do something proud to be Korean - poster wise would be good.
Let them teach you Korean.
Here's the cat
