I guess the chickens are coming home to roost. I shudder to think of the implications when oil spiked to $300/barrel if the house of saud falls. Israel must be shitting its pants right now.

Jeddah is completely different from the rest of Saudi - much more liberal. If protests in Riyadh occur, well, that would be different. But I really can't see there being any significant pressure on the Saudi government.
