I am going to take my documents to the Korean embassy. My U.S. State Ohio falls in the jurisdiction of the Chicago Embassy.
However, I will be in L.A. for a few weeks before I go to Korea. Does anyone know if it is possible to visit the L.A. embassy to process my visa number and issue the visa on the spot?
The Chicago embassy claims that I just have to ask L.A. (they dont know for some reason)
The L.A. embassy replied with a simple ' YES'. When I asked for clarification they replied again with a "YES". I guess I should take this at face value, but I am really not confident that this is correct.
Does anyone have any experience with this kind of issue? |

(this is not my first visa, so i assume it doesnt matter which consulate i use) |

Not your first E2, then you can use "in person" service at ANY Korean consulate on the planet.
