Lunar New Year is a fairly solemn time that people, for the most part, spend with their family. Some stores will be open, but it's not clubbing time like Solar New Year |

I'm enjoying the quiet time, but my poor neighbors (young couple with baby and toddler) stayed home. I was hoping them right above me would stop walking on top of my head for a few days by going to one of their parents home for the holiday, but they never go anywhere other than he noisily goes to work at 5am most mornings. I went to Lotte Mart yesterday for food and beer since they are closed until Friday. Western bars might be hopping if you wanna go out since most of us are here alone without family. |

There are no fun happenings in the public sphere on any holiday in the accountant country of Asia... However, for Chinese New Year, try: Taipei, Shanghai, and Hongkong, to name a few... Amazing fun the likes of which you will have never seen before ever...

M2 in Hongdae will be madness, as it always is on Wednesday nights. |
