I tried to sign up for the Korean PSN Network but it rejected my ARC number. I'm assuming it's the typical doesn't recognize foreign ARC number problem? |

change your country to America or Canada and don't input a CC and you're good to go. I have a Canadian PSN account with a Korean PS3. @ bbud656 you should be able to if you can remember your pw. |

You could see about gift cards.. if the PSN for Korea doesn't allow you to enter your ARC# you can find a K-friend to lend you his/her id # along with a cc if you're interested in purchasing stuff. Fire a complaint off to Sony Korea about the issue of not accepting your ARC #. Apart from that, google might be able to help but a quick search turned up nothing. Sorry |

I don't like to use others ARC # also i think the name has to be same as the credit card so unless they're also gonna give me their CC...i think i'm just SOL. Well Sony doesn't get my money! |

I use here:
www.maximuscards.com
They e-mail the number instantly so you don't have to wait for the card. |

I set mine to US but am having a Korean friend make an account for me just for me to input my DLC codes for games bought in Korea.
That said, for the OP, try Shattered Crystal (google for the link). If you have a US Bank Account, you can transfer money to Paypal and you can buy PSN gift cards on there. There is a slight markup, but they get you the codes within a few minutes.
My only problem is that I ended up having to get 2 PayPal accounts, one with my old US address on it so the bank transfer could be set up, and one with my current Korean address on it because they insist on calling new customers for verification. |
