I want to apply for a K1 visa for my girlfriend, who is a Chinese citizen. If you don't have work in the states, is it possible to apply early? I've reached out with some contacts, and I know I will be able to get work when I go back in August.
Or do I have to do the first step with the I-129F form, get approved, then show financial support? I don't think I'll have a problem with getting other required documents. Would I contact the embassy or a lawyer for this kind of information? I can't seem to find anything for this kind of case.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
