Earlier on the KTX tonight on the way to seoul, this drunk adjosshi was harassing these two foreign girls. He wouldn't stop when they said no.....all the koreans were looking at them and wouldn't do or say anything because he's an old man. Something inside me just snap and I stood up and went up to the old man and shove him to the ground. In my head, I was like WTF just happen and my heart was beating like crazy. Luckily, he was taken off the train by the conductor at the next stop and people on the train sided with me. This event and with KTX taking twice as long as usual due to the derailment earlier in the afternoon has been a real crazy night for me tonight....... |

Once a drunk racist guy started yelling at me and a couple of my friends,
one of which is fluent in korean, but of course doesnt look korean, so he knew everything said and was furious about to burst with rage,
When we left I went to the man and bowed saying 'annyeonghaseyo' with a smile, and everyone laughed and applauded me as i left and he made angry motions at me as the train left the stop.
good times |

good for you! Why should anyone have to put up with it? I'm sure the girls wanted to deck him themselves.
As a girl, I've had a few really bad situations with adjosshis and nobody says ANYTHING. They need to learn that it isn't OK and people aren't just going to take it. |

Whenever harangued, I always just crack up. I don't get why people get angry. The best way to make the harasser even more furious is to laugh in their face. |

Good for you. I'm sure the women appreciated that guy getting tossed off the train. What a maggot!
My friend just went through the same thing on the bus today on the way to Seoul, with some drunk guy in the seat next to hear grabbing at her body and trying to feel her breast. She had to give up her seat. |
