When we moved into our current apartment, we had just bought this Skylife PVR box, which allows you to record programs.

You can see details here: http://www.skylife.co.kr/eng/channel/sub02_7.html

For the month I used it, I loved it! I could record football matches that were on at 4 am, and have them ready to go when I woke up.

However, we were unable to use it because we couldn't install the dish because the apartment building next to us is in the way (it blocks the dish). We were able to use the Skylife 'communal' feed, but weren't able to use the PVR functions on the box. We signed up for a different cable package, but I held on to the box and dish in case we moved, but as we've recently resigned our lease, it doesn't look like we'll be needing it anytime soon.

Even though the box is about 3 years old, it was only used for a month before we moved to our current apartment.

According to the Skylife website (http://www.skylife.co.kr/eng/user/sub01_1.html) the box costs 230,000 won and the dish is 22,000 won. (Installation is another 40,000).

If you're interested, make me an offer. Located in Northern Seoul.

P.S. We've also got a 'regular' Skylife box. I THINK it's what they refer to as the 'interactive receiver' on the above page. If so, it goes for 138,000 new. Again, if interested, make me an offer.

Hi
I am sorry I wrote this prematurely. I called KT and subsribed to 3 yrs Qook Skylife. They are giving a setup box in the package. So I am not sure if I need to buy a setup box separately rightnow. I am getting it set up on Tuesday so I will wait and see if it is a HD receiver. I think things might have changed in 3 years or so. I will wait and see what kind of set up they do for me, and then see if I need to upgrade to a better receiver.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks
S.
