One of the most important holidays in Korea is Seollal, or Lunar New Years Day. This year Seollal falls on February 3.
The entire Seollal holiday encompasses 3 days. Because of this, many businesses are closed and visitors to Korea should plan and confirm their activities in advance. This year Seollal falls on a Thursday, creating a 5-day weekend. Visitors should be aware that some tourist sites may be closed or have special holiday hours.
The following is a partial list of information for businesses and tourist locations during the Seollal holiday.

I'm curious about the Post Office and Taek Bae delivery service. My replacement Kindle is coming!!
I'm pretty sure that the 24 hour Home Plus stores will be open. They were on Chusok morning at 9 am! GREAT time to shop! NO ONE in the store...everyone home sleeping off hangovers! |
