Where can I find cold cuts in Seoul? Sliced turkey or chicken would be great.

Any westernized country, such a delicacy does not exist in Korea.

There's a little deli in the front of the building that Hannam Supermarket is in, just up the road from Itaewon. I gotta warn you though, it's pricey. You might also want to consider ordering online from Nice Deli.

Costco. there's also a small restaurant in Itaweon where the guy, maybe Greman or Austrian, makes and imports sausages and cold cuts, sells sandwiches. Suji's is another place.

You're talking about Meili's, just down the hill from the station. Suji's is pretty dope too.

Meili's is the Austrian deli. He also has sourdough rye and other assorted numnums. I've heard good things about Suji's too, but haven't been in yet.

Check Costco, first. The prices aren't too bad and they should have most of what you need, especially cheese. If you can't find it at Costco then try the other places, but be ready to pay an arm and a leg.

if you don't have a costco membership/don't feel like dealing with the madness of costco, there are a couple small stores that buy costco products and sell them at only a slightly raised price. If you don't buy that often, it's cheaper than costco membership.

There's a place, Pinoy Mart, in Haebancheon near noksapyeong station, that would be an example of this. They have lots of ham, and occasional turkey, with some salamis too.

cheaper than delis. Not as good as them, but still good.

If you have an oven (and you can get a BIG electric one for 120k or less on gmarket) you can cook anythnig you want. If I cook up $15 of sirloin in one of those bad boys I'm getting the equivalent amount of sliced sandwich meat as about 100ks worth in Costco.

This weekend I'm planning on buying a big ham (350won/100g) and cooking it up. Leftovers (90% of it.) will be sliced and stored in the freezer for sandwiches. About 1/8th price of Costco ham and probably better than their pre-sliced in the US stuff.

I used to think eating out was cheaper than eating in. I've changed my mind since I started cooking in bulk.

Perhaps you should stop spreading misinformation. The best, easiest way to get any kind of cold cuts you want is the following website:

www.nicedeli.com

It's in English, prices are decent and service is great. They deliver on Fridays.
