Hello everyone,

I have recently just graduated from university in England with an MSci qualification, and have been accepted onto the EPIK program for Busan. The MSci (masters in science) is a 4 year degree that is essentially a Bachelors and a Masters degree in one (only one graduation). Applying for EPIK I thought that I would be on Level 2 pay, however the Busan POE have put me onto level 3 as they have not recognized my qualification as anything more than a Bachelors. I've even had a letter sent from my University explaining that MSci is worth an MSc+BSc, but this didn't work.

Does anyone have any ideas on other ways to convince Epik? I have until the 17th, and it would make my year in Korea even better having that extra pocket money

Unless they actually conferred you with both degrees (bachelor and master) then the POE doesn't see it as any different than a 4 year B.Sc. Hons.

Spend 100 quid, grab a quicky 100 hr TEFL cert (on-line) and get your bump.
