Just wondering if it's possible to work as many hours at your second job as your first. My current Uni has no problem me working a second job. i work only 12 hours a week there and would like to work that many at a second Uni. Possible? |

E1 or E2?
Previously on an E2, your 2nd job could not pay more nor have more hours than your 1st job. They could be equal.
With the current changes happening in immigration policy about 2nd workplaces and/or 2nd employers this may change as well but USUALLY the job who is sponsoring your visa is the greater of the 2.
The rules were slightly different with those on an E1.

Hi, so do you know what the current rules for working at a second job, on an E2 visa, are? I've heard they're changed only a few months age.

Easier to get (simply a report to immigration) and (I think) there is no longer a fee for adding a 2nd place of employment.
You are still restricted in that it cannot be more (hours or pay) than your main (sponsor) job.
