Anyone got their new EPIK contract for late feb/early march start?

Any changes?

I don't think anyone will see their actual contract until near the end of orientation, so in about 2-3 weeks for most people. I don't know how or if the SMOE contract will differ from the one we sent in already. This is just from an SMOE perspective. Perhaps people from other MOE/POEs got to see their 'real' contract.

Well, that's useful Smile. I was under the impression the differences would depend on the MOE/POE.

I don't have the new contract yet, but pretty sure they're shortening the renewal vacation days from 10 down to 7. Used to be 14 days. (consecutive days, including weekends/holidays.)

Not talking about the 20 days paid vacation. Talking about the extra days you get when you renew your contract. Since they've gotten rid of Saturday classes, the school year got longer and the vacations shorter.

That might be the rationale, but I was able to get my 20 days +10 and my 2 weeks summer English camp and 3 weeks winter English camp, and I STILL have time for desk warming. But it was a tight fit.

Are you with GEPIK?

EPIK already halved that from 10 to 5.

Oops. Right. I am. I guess I kind of morphed those two together. Nevermind.
