we will need conformation from the Globe bosses first before we believe that.

she sounded British , she probably works for The Sun, so that means diddly.

Ricky Gervais' jokes at the Golden Globes were probably a carefully crafted media stunt done with the full support of the people running it. Look at how much attention it's attracted to an event no one would pay attention to otherwise. Of course they've asked him to do it again.

conformation!

"There is no truth to this rumor," association president Philip Berk said in a statement Tuesday. "We have not asked him to come back. Nice try, Ricky."

That crossed my mind also. I'm hesitant to take it all at face value, although people did apparently walk out, like Bruce Willis.

Maybe it was all orginal and he really wasn't in collusion with the creators of the show.

Still, I didn't find him that funny, except that the idea of what he did is actually kind of funny.

Awesome? I mean really was he ?

He insulted the guests.
If I through a party at my house and started insulting my guests, or their friends to get laughs from a few people in the house.
would people really be leaving the party saying, WOW , That Koreadays guy really is a great host, he really throws a great party?

Sounds like he insulted you. Don't holiday in Britain if that's the case. Very Happy

Oh, and you'll get over it--as hard as that might be to accept right now.

I've been to England, I grew up watching British television.
nothing wrong with taking the piss. I get it.
but come on seriously. At the golden globes? people who you don't even know. a foreign country, foreign humor? taking the piss? drinking a pint!
