I'm going to a wedding, so I want to improve my ballroom dancing ability.
Any Seoul ballroom dancing schools/classes that are recommended? |

In Korea its called "Sports Dancing" (스포츠 댄스).
I would have no idea what places would be good or not. |

I don't know about where you could learn ballroom dancing in general,
but I will be teaching beginner's swing dance lessons next month (which is a social/partner dance with a lead and follow like other ballroom dancing). Maybe you're interested? ^.^ If you have any questions or want to join, you can email me at: [email protected] . If I hear about other dance schools in other genres, I'll let you know!!!
Here is the information from our event page ( http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=175727349135499&ref=ts#!/event.php?eid=142960499098292 ) :
<*Introduction to Swing Dance*
This four-part 90-minute class series is for true beginners to swing dance. The class will introduce the basics of leading and following in social dance, the basic 6-count rhythm of East Coast Swing, and a variety of turns to get you ready for the dance floor! No experience and no partner necessary. (We will rotate partners throughout the class.) Classes are taught in English.

Because we will be starting from the ground up and building on what we've learned each week in every class, we strongly recommend that you attend all four classes and ask that you please start in the first class (on March 5th).

Why learn swing dance?
It's social, it's active, it's healthy, it's FUN! Did you know Seoul has arguably the largest swing dance scene in the world! There are numerous clubs where you can go out dancing every night of the week. It's a great way to meet people or just share a dance with that special someone. ^.^

What to wear?
Your street clothes! Really. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in. *No shoes* in the studio though! So, socks are recommended (for turns and slides!).

If you plan on attending, it'd be lovely if you let us know so we can get an idea of how many leaders/followers/people we can look forward to. ^.^ > |
