....one that I can find at Kyobo.

I'm not sure of the students level yet. I will be testing them starting this week, so I figured a good series will have different levels from which to choose.

I like the Speak Out English series- not too expensive, explanations in Korean, and lots of space between the script for editing (some unnatural phrases could be crossed out)

Bump. I level tested them this morning and they will be starting at a beginner level. They scored about 1.5-2 out of 10.

With this new info does anyone have a recommendation? I could really use some help Smile

Beginners, eh? Very Happy

I used the yellow Interchange book. My first students seemed to like it- be sure you go semi-slowly, maybe 2 pages a day and make some filler (games/English pop songs/20 questions)

Best of luck

Thanks for the suggestions. I went with a book called English Communication. There is a business and a normal version. I think it will work perfectly for this class.

Sorry kimchi. I didn't see your post until after buying the book. However, I saw the Business Start-up at Kyobo and I agree: very useful.

EDIT: ooohh TCA, I just saw your 2nd post. I missed it before. I didn't see that Interchange book at Kyobo. But, I took a look online and it seems like a great find. I will definately bookmark this for the next time I find myself searching for good lesson material.

Market Leader is worth a look. Interchange is a good series, but is it a business English book?

I'm using Basic Business English. I found it to be a good book for beginners.
