|
|
Hi Everyone,
I just received my criminal background check and want to know the fastest way to get my E-2 Visa:
1. Do you recommend sending these required documents via USPS, UPS, or Fedex?
2. Are college transcripts always required?
(At least in the US, I know some employers want transcripts to scrutinize the records of people hired; however, am I to understand that college transcripts are always required for immigration)?
3. How long does the Visa take to get processed, from the time it is received by my employer?
Thanks for the consideration. |

You first have to get your criminal background check notarized and apostilled before you can send it. Yes, college transcripts are always required. You will need to have several sealed copies of your transcript. You will need 2-3 to submit to immigration and it's always a good idea to have extra.
UPS, Fedex, or DHL is the best way to send your documents.
No offense, but it sounds like you need to do a little more research into what you are doing. Try checking the Korean embassy website in your area to find out the requirements to get an E-2 visa.
The processing time can vary. It will take a week or two for the government to issue your visa number. Then you use that number to apply for the visa. I think that takes a few days to a week. Again, times can vary. |
