any foreign guys wear skinny jeans?
i attempted to try some on at home plus the other day just for fun. i couldnt even pull them all the way up. people would be weirded out if you were walking around in spandex all the time so how are exceptionally tight jeans acceptable?
please give your opinions on foreign guys and skinny jeans. |

I think it's an okay casual look if you're very young, like under 25. I'm not crazy about the look, though. What I do think is sort of cute is alpine-print leggings on guys, under calf-length jeans. Are any foreign guys doing that? |

Actually, I'm a former hiphopster--baggy pants and all. I once tried some tight pants just to see what all the hype was about. Although I didn't initially like the look and even now starting to change back to the semi-baggy look, I immediately fell in love with my tight jeans. The reason is that they were more comfortable. They fell in all the right places for the sheer fact that they don't fall at all and actually do a great job of keeping my large packet where I want it (without showing an embarrassing bulge in the wrong places---though that has also happened on occasion being so well endowed and all).
I believe that clothes are essentially fashion statements, but to a certain extent (for about a year), I had no qualms with being out of fashion for my age but walking around comfortably. Sounds weird but they are actually quite comfortable if you buy the size for you. I personally recommend CK slims.
By the way, I also feel that my somewhat adventurous behavior may also have something to do with being in a foreign country. I'm sure I'd get beat up after a couple of days had I been so gung-ho about experimentation back in the homeland (particularly Detroit). |

I can't even get the regular Korean jeans over my thighs. The "skinny jeans" or "pencil cut" jeans are out of the question. And I'm not fat either, I'm 6'3" tall and have a 32" waist. |

I'm 5'8 and 32/33 waist. Go to CK. They have your length and waist size. |

i would never wear the "painted on" skinny jeans just because i don't like to take an extra 10 minutes to put my pants on every morning. it seems a little extreme, but if people want to put that much time into how they look, whatever i can't judge.
skinny jeans have been popular with all different fashion groups for years where i am from, so it feels perfectly normal to see almost all the young koreans wearing them here. i don't see why people make such a big deal out of them, i find moderately slim or skinny jeans to me incredibly comfortable. they are much more comfortable then wearing regular pants that are more baggy, and they hold themselves up for the most part.
in college i was really tall and really lanky. the only pants i could get that were long enough were too big in the waist. my first pair of skinny jeans felt like heaven.
i am a full supporter. |

spandex isn't considered normal attire so yes, it would draw more attention then super-fitted jeans.
tight jeans are just a part of the korean fashion sensibility. super tight goes above and beyond, but the main theme is clothes that are fitted. as you may know by now, here, image is everything. it presents a cleaner image and implies an attention to self if the clothes you wear look like they were meant for you to wear. |

I actually found a couple pairs of jeans that fit me at ZARA. Much cheaper than Calvin Klein, too.
I found a wearable pair at Giordano too, but I had to get a bigger waist size so that the thighs would fit, and cinch the waist with my belt. Which of course reminded me of the classic SNL "GAP girls" sketches... "Just cinch 'em!"

My thighs are too large to fit into skinny jeans, let alone Asian-brand skinny jeans.
I have a pair of fitted jeans (I think they're only straight cut though) that are very comfy. I don't mind the fitted/skinny look + feel, but it's hard to pull off without being ultra thin. |

try the Slim Fit jeans from Uniqlo (I believe they are the S001 style).
I've got big thighs too and the jeans fit me great. I think there's a bit of elastane woven in so it's a tiny bit stretchy. They've got some good washes and the quality to price ratio is great. |

No self-respecting male should ever wear those monstrosities. |

Jeans are work clothes, and I don't meant working at school, I mean manual labor or farm work. If you're doing some sort of shop or outdoorsy activity with the kids its okay I guess. |

I think skinny/fitted jeans are just lovely. But I think men over the age of 21/22 shouldn't wear the jeggings. They are fine for ladies, though.
I really don't think fitted jeans are a trend anymore. They are a staple like boot cut or "natural" fit. Rock the jeans you like that fit you well and are mostly comfortable.
As a side, stone-wash is an assault on my eyes and I find it abhorrent even on the loveliest of hip young ladies. |
