My wife is interested in taking classes in eastern medicine (acupunture).
Any one know if there are schools in Korea who train people to do this? Classes in English would be ideal and I think the chances are slim. The online schools that offer classes from the US are extremely expensive (30K USD) so we are looking for alternatives. Thanks. |

I read an article about one of the few Western practitioners of Korean traditional medicine. He went to school here: http://www.kyunghee.edu/academics03_22.php
I'm not sure about the language in which the courses are offered. |

There is one foreigner who learned korean and became a korean herbal medicine doctor here.
I had a few herbal medicine students when I taught college...they knew english well....so maybe some of the courses are in english. |

| Strangely, acupuncture and sham acupuncture(sticking the needle into non-acupuncture points) have the same results. Still, can't be much worse than many of the 'Western' medicine doctors trained here. What do you mean I "shouldn't sleep with the fan on?" |
