So after laughing at someones idiocy on Dave's about losing their ARC 6 times, I went and lost mine.

However, I leave in 12 days. Is it necessary to bother getting a new one? Can I just say 'I lost it' at the airport?
Or should I get a piece of paper on the day that I can hold onto rather than waiting a dangerous amount of time for a new card?

Have you finished your job or are you planning on returning to work at the same job?

I lost mine and was leaving for vacation, but didnt notice until I was at the airport. I reported it to immi office (not at the check-in) at the airport and they noted it on the computer and told me to get a new one as soon as I returned. I returned and went to my local immi office and got a new card. No problems.

You should probably report it as lost to your local immi office. They can tell you what you need to do.

I think it only costs 10,000 won for a replacement.

I'm leaving, to return in June to a different place.

Spose I'll call up tomorrow before work and see what the deal is...?
