Does anyone know of a good Peking duck restaurant in Seoul? Google is being less than helpful on this one. |

There is a place called "Mao's" in Hongdae.
Pretty good, expect to pay about 60k for a whole duck... but they have half duck for 30k I believe. |

Right outside of exit 2 of Apgujeong State there is a place called Beijing Duck. Is that the same thing? |

Peking = Wade-Giles romanization of Beijing.
But it being "the same" depends on how the restaurant prepares it I suppose... |

I never understood how "jing"="king" in WG, same with Nanking/Nanjing.

There's Peking Duck at the Mao Restaurant in upper Kyungleedan-Itaewon. I don't want to say it's expensive, but they should give you complimentary tissue for when they make you pay through the nose!! (Hats off to comedian Jimmy the Janitor!) |
