I submitted my background application about two weeks ago now and included the credit card form in there. I just noticed that the FBI charged my card for the amount specified... I'm wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to get the background check after this has happened.
I'm assuming since they did it so soon that it is going to take a few weeks yet? Anyone know. |

| Expect to wait 10-13 weeks from the time you sent it. I don't remember how long it was from the time my card was charged... maybe 5 weeks? |

| I sent mine in on December 27 and got it back 5 weeks later. Four weeks processing time and one week in the mail. This may not mean anything but it was my experience. |

| There is a thread somewhere on here on the first couple of pages where everyone has been listing how long it took them personally. You might want to find that to get an idea. Mine only took about five weeks total. |

| Sent mine out towards the end of August 2010, got it late October or early November. |
