Hello everyone. I have decided I don't want to wait until August to start with EPIK, so I will take the gamble with the hagwon industry. I was wondering if anyone with hagwon experience could tell me if you have much free time on your work days. Do you have to do lesson planning outside the hours stipulated in your contract? Do you have free time in between classes?
I ask because I would like to have some time during the day to bike around the city, do some reading, get a drink, things like that. I might be taking some college courses online to cover the prerequisites for a masters program, although not more than one or two at a time. I guess some of this depends on how good you are at time management. Thoughts? |

Just in case you missed this, there's a recruiter listing a bunch of off-season EPIK positions. If you are interested in EPIK but couldn't make the march 1 date, maybe one of them would work.
Here's the link:

I don't work for them or vouch for the jobs, so buyer beware and all that. |
