I've been here nearly 11 months and tax time is nearly upon us. I was originally slated to leave at the end of March but I am extending two additional months, which may or may not be relevant to taxes. When filing said taxes, should claim March 2010 through earnings March 2011? I had no income for the beginning of 2010 except for minor gains on a mutual fund. In addition, I am working a LEGAL private via my hagwon at a Korean corporation. I should include this in my tax filings, right?

Lastly to clarify for my peace of mind and to beat a severely dead horse: Hagwon employees are NOT allowed to benefit from the tax exemption laws for U.S citizens in Korea 2 year rule. Is this correct? Thanks.
