I want to buy it. Questions for those of you in Korea:

When do you think it will give here, given early March release in states?

What do you think it will cost here? Would I save a lot having it shipped by a family member in the states?

Where in Seoul would you go to buy it?

What are your favorite lenses? Very Happy

I have no idea about any of the Korea-specific questions, however, the favourite lens will depend on what you like to shoot. I love to shoot wide, so my favourite lens on a cropper (30D) was the Tokina 11-16 f2.8. When I moved up to my 1D Mark III, I had to sell that lens and shot with a 17-40L for a few months and loved it...just yesterday I bought a 16-35L II, though, which I have no doubt will be my new favourite.

A lot of guys sing praises about the EF-S (read: crop body only) 17-55 IS 2.8...but it's not cheap.

You might be able to save if you get it shipped from home IF they don't catch it in customs and charge you the import duty. Also, it's a bit heavy - after shipping it may come out about even, even if they don't hit you with the import duty.

I'm looking at Micro 4/3 stuff now and, while it sucks that it's pricier here, it's cheaper to buy here for 100$ more than it is to buy the camera and lens and have it shipped from home with insurance.
