I want to buy it. Questions for those of you in Korea:
When do you think it will give here, given early March release in states?
What do you think it will cost here? Would I save a lot having it shipped by a family member in the states?
Where in Seoul would you go to buy it?
What are your favorite lenses? |

I have no idea about any of the Korea-specific questions, however, the favourite lens will depend on what you like to shoot. I love to shoot wide, so my favourite lens on a cropper (30D) was the Tokina 11-16 f2.8. When I moved up to my 1D Mark III, I had to sell that lens and shot with a 17-40L for a few months and loved it...just yesterday I bought a 16-35L II, though, which I have no doubt will be my new favourite.
A lot of guys sing praises about the EF-S (read: crop body only) 17-55 IS 2.8...but it's not cheap. |

You might be able to save if you get it shipped from home IF they don't catch it in customs and charge you the import duty. Also, it's a bit heavy - after shipping it may come out about even, even if they don't hit you with the import duty.
I'm looking at Micro 4/3 stuff now and, while it sucks that it's pricier here, it's cheaper to buy here for 100$ more than it is to buy the camera and lens and have it shipped from home with insurance. |
