My computer (a desktop running XP) keeps blue screening and giving me the above message. I replaced my hard drive (at the recommendation of my local computer shop guy) with a new one but it keeps happening.

Now he wants me to replace the graphics card but seeing as this error happens even when the computer is just idling I can't imagine that would be the problem.

I did do a google search for it and they recommended using chkdsk. I ran that a couple of times but it hasn't helped and it crashes in the middle of the chkdsk scans as well.

I have Adaware and 알약 on the computer and have scanned fully with them as well. Would those programs be enough to root out any viruses or are there other programs I need?

The other thing I should mention I guess is that the fans are quite noisy on the computer. Does this sound at all like something that could be caused by overheating?
