Does your laptop power cord detach from its transformer? AKA, 'the brick'?

If it does (and they almost always do) then you don't need a plug adapter......just buy a Korean power cord from any supermarket, Hi-Mart or any local electrical store. Plug that in your laptop's transformer/power supply/brick and away ye go.

The Irish plug is just the same as the UK plug. Right? They're in Linko's for sure. I just bought one two weeks ago there.

And, just to get the terminology right, because it's something that is regularly confused on these boards, it's not actually a converter you want because you don't need to change the voltage to use Irish/British appliances in Korea. What you need is a simple 3000 won plug adapter.
