You can use your ARC card to sign up for a Korean Battle net account. If you do this you can pay to play WOW on a monthly or weekly basis, in Korea if you do this you don't actually have to buy the game (you get to play the game and all expansions including CAT), you just pay for time. Currently if you pay for it monthly you also get free Starcraft 2 for the same amount of time you have WoW

Is the game in Korean though? if so, how would I change it to English?

I got my account all set up but I have to ask my Korean friend how to get time on my account as the whole payment system is in Korea. I should be able to just make a bank transfer though. I'll post more details when I get it done. From what i've been told you can play in either Korean or English, the only draw back is most groups and such are Korean speakers. I'm really interested in setting up a ESL guild at some point for all of us geeky gamers out there. As far as SC2 goes there is a mod to put it all in English Smile

Heya. Should you be interested in Korean WoW:

1. Make I-pin.
http://www.g-pin.go.kr/center/main/index.gpin

2. Use I-pin to make BattleNet account on Korean servers.
http://kr.battle.net/ko/

3. Download Korean client.
http://www.worldofwarcraft.co.kr/data/client/

4. Go to your local Family Mart/GS25/7Eleven/etc. ask to pay for WoW time.

5. You have two options: Buy hours of playtime or get a week/month/2months/etc. plan which will allow you to play as much as you want within that time.

6. After you give them the money they will give you a receipt with a number. Log in to your account and enter this number.

7. Be warned. While you might be able to download the English client, the servers are still in Korea, so everyone around you will speak Korean, which will make PvP/Raids a living hell for those who don't know the language. Might be best to just play on the Oceanic realms of WoW US coupled with a latency reducer.

Sorry for the offtopic. :s

and incidentally, why sign up for a korean battle.net account when you can access the english versions here with no problem? i've been here a year and have never had trouble with logging into WoW.

edit: nor any problems with lag, if that's the issue. and this is signing into the US servers. don't bother with the hassle of a korean account. just go to the WoW homepage, feed them your credit card info, download the games, and raid away.
