I just came back from there today and saw they had a huge time capsule in the park. It was pretty cool, seeing all the well-wishings from the mayors of Seoul's sister cities for the anniversary of the founding of Seoul.
Anyways, the capsule contains relics indicative of the life of a Seoulite in 1994, and will not be opened until 2394.
Now, chances are good I will not be able to attend the opening of the capsule  so I was wondering does anyone know what sorts of things were put into this thing? There didn't seem to be a list of it, though it was mentioned there were 600 objects thrown into it.
The mind boggles. 600 items to describe Seoul life in the early 1990s. I'm just trying to think if I could come up with 600 things for a Boston time capsule. |
