|
|
Hey all,
I just bought an Anycall Galaxy phone. Seems a lot like the Iphone, but a big difference is it doesn't seem to work with Itunes. It does, however, have an MP3 player.
All my music on my computer are Itunes MP3 files. But I haven't bought any of the music from Itunes itself.
Is there some way I can get these james onto my Galaxy??
Help!! I really want to use this phone as an MP3 player as well! |

When I bought my Galaxy phone I switched from iTunes to MusicBee on my laptop - the layout is almost identical to iTunes but allows you to drag-and-drop music onto your phone (which will show up as an external device). I recommend it ---> http://getmusicbee.com
Alternatively, once you connect your phone with the USB cable it'll show up as an external drive in Wndows and you can simply copy and paste the music you want using Windows file explorer, just like using a USB stick. |

Ah, that's the thing, though. I have a Macbook, only a few months old and am still figuring out a few things... one of them is: I don't know how to look for an external device if it doesn't show up automatically. With my old PC, I could look under the 'My computer' folder, but I can't seem to find it on my Macbook.
That seems like the easiest way, just to drag and fold from my Itunes folder to my phone, when it shows up on my computer... but it never shows up! |

Ugh... and that Music Bee program won't download to a Mac. Seriously, Macs seem overrated in some ways. Seems like half the programs I try to download, don't. That never used to happen with my PC. |

Ahh.. in that case hopefully somebody else can chime in as I've no idea how to find external drives on a Mac. It can't be too difficult though so I'm sure you'll have your music on there soon enough, somehow! |

I've been told a program called Itunes Agent will also work. Of course... surprise surprise, when I try to download it, Mac opens it as a bunch of gibberish on some word processing program. Driving me crazy. If Macs are so great, how come 99% of the programs are tailored to download on PCs instead?? |

Arghh... so I finally downloaded a Mac-friendly Itunes-transfer program... now apparently my phone is not showing up in my Macbook!
I know Korea is geared more to PCs than to Macs, but this ridiculous. Their best phone doesn't even REGISTER in a Mac? Anyone know how to get around this one? |
