Hi,
I think anyone who's posted here for a long time has experienced "getting burned" by the auto-timeout function.
What I mean here is that you spend the time crafting a well-thought-out post only to find that when you hit submit, you've timed-out of your account. You're then left at the mercy of page-back in your browser: maybe your post is still there, maybe it's not.
What would be helpful for me to know is what time-frame I'm up against. I get the sense that it's longer than in the past, but I really don't know.
How long till you time out? I'm gonna guess 20 minutes? |

Dave probably likes a short time limit. Drive-by-style posting gets him more hits. |

Yes, it can suck.
So now, for a longer post, I compose in WordPad and/or regularly refresh the page. You can, too. |
