My contract is expiring soon and I will be leaving my school and looking for work at a better hagwon. I plan on doing a month in the USA before coming back. Here is my question.

When I applied for my first E-2 visa back in January 2010, I already submitted an FBI level background check due to coming from Arizona, a closed records state.

I did some looking online and saw that you can renew for the first time without submitting an FBI-check but was unable to figure out a) if that was only for renewing at the same school and b) how to do that.

Or , since I already submitted an FBI check the first time...am I golden, and just need to apply for the E-2 and hopefully can sign a new contract before leaving in May?
