Thanks once again in advance guys.
I just bought an ipod 4. The camera is good and the MP player is also. Problem is I can not figure out how to get any free books. really, I looked. I also can not connect to the wireless internet. I wanted to use Face Time, and no internet connection.
Thanks. |

IMO the best free reader out there for the Ipod is Stanza, which you can obtain at:

As far as wireless goes, are you sure that you are in range of a wireless network?
Go to your closest starbucks (they all have free wireless) go to the settings and turn on the wireless network access. Then connect to the starbucks network. |

actually for starbucks connection you need to have a korean social security number and name
bring a korean friend if you wanna use it or ask someone nicely if you can use theirs
i brought my wife, but then realized that my laptop had no korean keyboard, so I had to go back home and copy paste everything from the internet before i could use it |

What format are the books in? That's the first problem. The easiest one to look for and load is pdf or epub. To know if it is, the file name will end with .epub or .pdf.
The second problem may be how you are putting them onto your ipod. For stanza, you have to have itunes open first. Then click on the device name in itunes. From there your ipod profile will show. Now go to the top and look for apps. From there go to the bottom of the screen and look for file sharing and the box that says apps. Click on stanza. The box next to it will change to say stanza documents. Now drag the correct file into there. It should be ready.
If you download ibooks application, it's even easier. All you do is get the file, drag it to your ipod in itunes and then let go. It works the same as how you can put music on there.
Have you looked on youtube for directions? It may be easier to understand if you watch people at work doing this. Here's an example, not the best but will tell you what I'm saying.

Are you guys still talking about the iPod or is this for computers? It takes about 30 seconds to enable a Korean keyboard layout on most windows computers. You don't have to buy anything and I don't think you even need an internet connection or the Windows CD (May depend on your Windows version).
Control Panel-> Change Keyboard or input methods -> Keyboard and Languages -> Change keyboards -> Add
For the iPhone 4 (I guess the iPod is similar) it's even easier.
Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> International Keyboards -> Add |
